As registered and bonded Legal Documents Assistants we are experienced professional who are authorized to prepare legal documents for a client, at the direction of the client, who prefers to represent themselves. In other words, an LDA is there to assist the "self-help" client to handle their own legal matters without the cost of an attorney. Since even the best legal, self-help books can be confusing and overwhelming, we can can provide invaluable assistance with routine legal tasks, preparation, notarization and filing of many kinds of documents.

Karen F. Schwartz is the principal of AC Estate Plan and Notary Service. She is originally from Portland Oregon and came to the San Diego area in 1990. After High School she graduated from Northwestern College of Business and pursued continued education at University of California San Diego. She received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego. After many years of working for local attorneys in Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate, she opened AC Estate Planning and Notary Service in 2008.

Karen is a San Diego County registered and bonded Legal Document Assistant, #NC43. She is also a member of the California Association of legal Document Assistants, the National Association of Professional Women and the National Notary Association.

Karen stays current with continuing education with CLE approved classes through the National Business Institute, CALDA and related conferences.
